Position: IT Technician - POSITION FILLED

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an IT Technician for Vibrant Technology, you will acts as the main on-site IT support for the company, forming part of the team that provides exceptional services. Your role primarily focuses on the following:

Supporting computer desktop and associated hardware and software systems in a multi-location environment

Logging of support tickets via phone, email or walk-ins.

Configuring upgrading and relocating hardware, software, printers, mobile devices and audio-visual equipment
-
Performing user enrolment and de-enrolment (application and license provisioning, hardware provisioning, Active directory)
-
Responding and liaising with end-users, providing and providing updates as necessary
-
Assisting in related projects where IT input / services are required
-
Troubleshooting and fixing hardware, software and networking issues
-
Helping staff improve their computer expertise
-
Setting up of audio/visual presentations
-
Providing day to day general IT support - hands-on in the offices and remotely over the phone or via desktop sharing

Visiting the Company’s branch locations to perform IT duties as outlined.

Conforming to the required IT procedures and policies necessary to deliver the Company’s Services.

Experience working with a helpdesk systems and level 2 desktop and end user support tickets.

Able to troubleshoot and fix hardware, software and networking issues

Expected to help staff improve their computer expertise

Responsible for setting up audio/visual presentations

Knowledge of supporting common IT Systems – email, Anti-virus, firewalls, VPN clients, databases
-
Day to day general IT support - hands-on in the offices and over the phone.

Visiting remote offices to perform IT duties as outlined.

To conform to the required IT procedures and policies necessary to deliver the Company’s Services.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
-
Possession of one or more I.T. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network +, MCSE, CCNA
-
2+ years hands on experience working in a Corporate environment

Knowledge of supporting common IT Systems – email, Anti-virus, firewalls, VPN clients, databases Experience working with a helpdesk systems and desktop end-user support tickets.

Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software –Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook email, antivirus and other desktop security applications, intermediate networking etc.

Strong knowledge of business productivity tools, telephony applications and technology trends

Analytical, Reasoning and Problem-Solving Skills

Judgment and Decision-Making e.g. ability to make judgments about the course of action required in resolving issues as well as the financial, operational and organizational impact

Ability to conduct research using a variety of information resources.
